When this pup’s humans found out that she was deaf and blind, they brought her to the vet and told them that they needed to put her down. Thankfully, someone saw something in her and fought for her life.

Aster Rose was saved by her vet, who told the family not to put down the sweet dog because he knew that blind and deaf dogs can still have a great quality of life. The vet reached out to some rescues and found a place that would take Aster and her sister. That’s when Krysten saw Aster’s photo online and knew she had to be her human.

Krysten’s cat, Teddy, has also fallen in love with Aster and loves to snuggle with her. Aster also has some dog siblings who she loves to play with.

We are so glad that Aster got a second chance at life and she is proof that blind and deaf dogs can be just as happy as any other dog!
