Meet Grumpy, a 50-year-old bird who was used as a breeder bird before finally being rescued and finding his forever home with this sweet family. He has been with his human now for almost 34 years.

Poor Grumpy was scared and not trusting of humans, but his human worked with him every day, and he finally gained trust in her. He still was not so sure about her husband, and it took him a whole seven years to even touch him. After the woman had a baby and couldn’t spend as much time with Grumpy, he finally gave the husband a shot. Although his mom human remains his favorite person, if she is away, he is a close second.

Grumpy now lives his life with his humans. He barks like a dog and makes it very known that he is the man of the house. We love this happy ending for Grumpy!
