Raiders QB Derek Carr dominates Broncos in Week 11

Going up against the No. 3 ranked scoring defense in the NFL, Derek Carr and the Raiders were severely overmatched on offense. They came into this game without two Pro Bowl pass catchers in Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, who were placed on the injured reserve list before Week 10.

They were also without Pro Bowl left tackle Kolton Miller, who was a surprise scratch after being limited in practice with an injury. Going up against one of the league’s best pass rushes and secondaries, it was tough to envision the Raiders having much success on offense.

But Carr played his best game of the season in Week 11, throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. Whenever the Raiders needed a play, he made one. Take a look at his passing chart from Week 11 via the NFL’s Next Gen Stats:

Both of his touchdowns to Davante Adams came nearly at the same spot on the field. Adams got open on a few long over routes that put him in coverage with the safety. And those two touchdowns were enough for the Raiders to get a much-needed win in Denver.
