Lending specialist Hawk Group has appointed Maria Tengdahl as Client Services and Lending Operations Manager and Compliance Administrator for Hawk Estates, based in Jersey.
Maria brings with her a wealth of investigative and compliance experience, including as AMLi Manager for HSBC, covering the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Hong Kong and UAE offices.
In that role, she was responsible for investigating and conducting day-to-day operations of financial crime investigations.
Specialising in AML and leading complex investigations, Maria has spent the past two years leading the Government of Jersey's Enforcement Team.
In addition, Hawk Group has appointed Sean Le Chevalier as Client Services Manager for Hawk Brokering.
Sean has more than five years’ experience working within debt structuring at Close Finance CI, supporting sales teams and, more recently, underwriting secured and unsecured lending applications for local clients.
