NEW DELHI: A day after Mallikarjun Kharge's election as party president was marred by the losing candidate's allegations of voting malpractices, Congress Thursday called Shashi Tharoor two-faced who made "baseless and imaginary" charges to show that the exercise was biased against him.
In a point by point rebuttal of the four-page complaint by Tharoor's election agent Salman Soz, AICC election authority chairman Madhusudan Mistry said none of the allegations about UP was correct, barring a dispute among rival agents over a solitary vote out of the total 1,247.

"I am sorry to say that you had one face before me which communicated that you were satisfied with all our answers and action, and different face in the media which made all these allegations against us," Mistry wrote to Soz, while accusing Team Tharoor of trying "to make a mountain out of a molehill".
