The Pittsburgh Steelers got back to work on Wednesday as they prepare to take on the New York Jets at home on Sunday. The only player absent from practice on Wednesday was starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon who is dealing with a hamstring injury.

If Witherspoon cannot go on Sunday. it will throw off the entire cornerback depth chart. Witherspoon and Cameron Sutton had been doing a good job as the team's primary boundary cornerbacks. Taking Witherspoon off the board means Levi Wallace would likely take his spot.

Arthur Maulet would remain the team's slot cornerback in most packages but the fourth cornerback then becomes James Pierre. It would also bring backup safety Tre Norwood into the fold a bit more as a sub-package defender.
