Police, firefighters and paramedics from Palatine responded about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 to a report of a crash with injuries on Rohlwing Road south of Baldwin Road in Palatine.
Crews on arrival reported a crash possibly involving a medical emergency. Initially there was a report of a road rage incident with a white Lexus ramming a black Toyota Camry, but crews on arrival initially assessed the incident as a crash involving a medical emergency.
The crash may have appeared to be a road incident but may have actually been a crash involving a medical emergency.
A second ambulance was dispatched to the scene at about 9:24 a.m. Inverness Fire Protection District paramedics were assigned.
