The London Underground has been hit by a power failure as thousands of mourners are expected to descend on the capital to pay tribute to the late Queen. 

Transport for London said the issue means there is no Piccadilly line service between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters.

There are "severe delays" on the rest of the line.

It has also been reported that the Victoria line is suspended because of power supply problems, with several stations closed including Oxford Circus.

  7. Mornington Crescent (prevent overcrowding)
  8. Taplow Rail Station (planned closure)
