NEW DELHI: Poll strategist Prashant Kishor took another swipe at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday saying that the state has seen many alliances come and go but only one link has remained unbroken: "that between the CM chair and Nitish Kumar".
"We've seen many alliances being made and broken in Bihar ... only one link doesn't break- between CM chair and Nitish Kumar, be it any alliance. It's exemplary; can be only done by him ... Fevicol should make him their brand ambassador," said Kishor.
Nitish and Kishor have shared a rather acrimonious relationship ever since the latter was removed from the JD(U).
Kishor was inducted into the JD(U) by the Bihar CM four years ago. He was elevated to the post of national vice president within weeks. However, Kishor was expelled less than two years later following sharp differences over the CAA-NPR-NRC controversy.

The two have been trading barbs more frequently ever since Nitish pulled out of an alliance with the BJP in Bihar.
Recently, the Bihar CM called Kishor a "publicity expert" and dismissed his former aide's remark that JD(U)'s decision to join hands with the RJD will have a regional and not a national impact.
"Does he know how much work has been done since 2005," Nitish shot back when questioned about Kishor's statements. He then suggested that Kishor may be working to help the BJP covertly.

A day after Kumar's statement, Kishor tweeted a set of pictures in which the Bihar CM can be seen greeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at various public events.

He then dared Nitish to provide 10 lakh government jobs in a year as promised by him after formation of the new government.
Reacting to Nitish's bid to unite the opposition, Kishor said only meeting with political leaders and chief ministers of other states would be futile unless backed by a blueprint of development.
