Americans Seriously Questioning Herschel Walker’s Mental Fitness After Heartbreaking Interview About…His Mental Fitness

It is no longer funny writing about Herschel Walker.

We at this site are in no position to diagnose any disease in anyone, but we can note that clearly, something is wrong with this man. He is not coherent. He doesn’t understand how government functions (Running for a U.S. Senate seat, talking about “all these judges giving no cash bails…”). He has lied about his past at a near-Trumpian rate. He has also had shady business deals. And, of course, there is the violent instability – not isolated incidents – and even he admits to mental health problems.

Some of it could be trauma to his brain from football. We cannot know, but he appears to be sliding as the pressure mounts.

The stigma regarding mental health problems must end, and thus, not one sentence in this story is meant to demean Walker or mock any mental health issues in anyone. Walker’s mental health clearly needs further stabilization, if possible. As said above, it’s no longer funny.

What the hell is this? And how can this man function in the United States Senate? We have asked before, could you trust Walker to drive your kids to soccer practice? That is not said with condescension. It’s a real question.

“I’ve always been very transparent. I’ve been very transparent. And I will be a champion for mental health because I’ve helped so many people that had a mental health problem.

“I think a lot of families have a lot of struggles with mental health, and I will be a champion for that.

“And they can continue to bring all this, what they want to do against me, because people know what I stand for, Herschel Walker is still standing.

“My bike is not bent so anyone can ride my bike like he’s going to have Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden riding his bike because he’s going to be voting for whatever they say.” – Herschel Walker, apparently referring to Raphael Warnock.

He has been transparent about his mental health problem, but it is not like he had a choice. The stories and potential criminal charges were public knowledge. As for “transparent,” he didn’t even acknowledge two children he fathered that he’s essentially ignored.

He can be a champion for people with mental health issues. But one doesn’t need to be in the U.S. Senate to do so. And the last sentence near proves that he’s unfit to serve in the U.S. Senate. It’s gibberish, incoherent. We cannot diagnose, but we can make conclusions regarding his fitness. It is not funny. It is deadly serious. This man isn’t fit to serve in office.

UPDATE:

Some people on Twitter say that Walker is actually saying “back” and not “bike”, and that is a Southern Georgian accent. It’s possible. “Ride my back” isn’t a phrase I’ve really heard of, and regardless, even if he’s saying back it doesn’t make much sense. Still, in full transparency, we want to mention it’s possible Walker is indeed saying “back” and not “bike”.

People on Twitter thought it was rather sad:
