ESPN ranks WR Davante Adams as the No. 10 player in NFL going into 2022 season

The NFL players ranked their top 100 over the last month and All-Pro receiver Davante Adams came in at No. 7. That seemed appropriate considering how dominant he’s been over the last several years. But where do NFL beat writers have the newest receiver for the Raiders?

In ESPN’s top-100 list released on Monday, Adams came in at No. 10. He was the third-ranked receiver on the list, behind only Cooper Kupp and Justin Jefferson.

One of the reasons why Adams was ranked so highly was due to his incredible touchdown production since entering the league. Here is a snippet of what they had about the former Green Bay star:

“Since being drafted 53rd overall in 2014, Adams leads the league with 81 receiving touchdowns in the regular season and playoffs in 127 career games. In 2012 and 2013, Adams’ two seasons at Fresno State with Carr throwing him the ball, Adams caught 38 touchdowns, which led all FBS quarterback-receiver tandems in that span.”

The Raiders had a number of players make the top-100 list by ESPN, including Darren Waller, Derek Carr, and Maxx Crosby. But it was fascinating that neither Hunter Renfrow nor Chandler Jones appeared on the list.
