Tua Tagovailoa expected to play vs. Raiders tonight
MIAMI GARDENS — Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill are not listed among the players Miami says are not expected to play Saturday night.
Just before kickoff, it was revealed that Hill will actually be held out for precautionary reasons. Raheem Mostert and Melvin Ingram also won't play.
The Dolphins are hosting the Raiders in their second preseason game. Coach Mike McDaniel had been working through which game he wanted Tua to see action.
Tagovailoa said earlier this week he wants to play.
Unfortunately Tagovailoa won't have starting left tackle Terron Armstead or receiver Jaylen Waddle available at Hard Rock Stadium.
Armstead is easing his way back from a knee injury. Waddle did not practice this week with an undisclosed apparent injury.
