Timber Hill Trades Outdoor Storage Facility in Brighton Park
Timber Hill Group, a Chicago-based private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and development of logistics related real estate, has sold a 3.5-acre outdoor storage/fleet parking property at 4626 W. 42nd St. in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood to Zenith IOS for an undisclosed price.
The yard is in a prime location near Cicero Avenue and I-55 interchange. It is zoned for truck parking, a rare designation within city limits.
Timber Hill acquired the site in 2017 and subsequently made improvements, adding a perimeter fence, gate system and lighting.
“This is an exceptionally rare property given its zoning and excellent infill location,” said Timber Hill CEO Cary Goldman. “Properties like this remain in high demand as last mile distribution continues to dominate the industrial real estate landscape.”
