Hotels and accommodation are also allowed to open for domestic tourism, but limited to customers from the same district and on condition that all guests and staff are fully vaccinated. “The use of facilities such as gyms, swimming pools, dining halls and seminar rooms are not allowed. “Travel activities are not allowed except for travel bubbles on condition that tourists, tour operators and hotel staff have been fully vaccinated and granted approval from the Sabah Covid-19 State Disaster Management Committee,” said Masidi. Sabahans are also now allowed to travel to Labuan but must undergo a RT-PCR swab test three days prior to their departure and are subject to entry conditions imposed by respective State authorities. The same conditions apply for travel to Sarawak. Individuals traveling from Sabah to the peninsula do not need to undergo RT-PCR swab test before departing Sabah.
