A great story, every Filipino boxing fans knows Carlos Ortiz because of his fights with another legend Gabriel Flash Elorde the only fighter who recieved a posthumous award from the Pope, lucky to watched live his fight in Manila as well as the one with Ismael Laguna.

“On my way up you couldn’t find any bums.”

This man fought Kenny Lane, Joe Brown, Duilio Loi, Nicolino Locche, Ismael Laguna, ken Buchanan & Sugar Ramos! That is a ridiculously packed resume. He deserves every plaudit he gets.
