Many social media users who saw the photo, said the development is not unconnected with the recent massacre of worshippers at a church in Owo, Ondo state.

In the photo, the lady could be seen holding the gun with other members of the church undisturbed.

A similar story was also reported showing a pastor with a gun inside a church preaching the gospel to his members.

The state of insecurity in the country has increased with citizens looking for options to protect themselves.
