Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte have expanded their strategic alliance to offer managed security services to their shared U.S. clients.

Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity technology portfolio is now available in outcome-based, managed offerings from Deloitte. Deloitte Cyber and Palo Alto Networks announced their strategic alliance in July 2021 to deliver integrated cybersecurity solutions to mutual customers.

Prem Iyer is Palo Alto Networks‘ vice president of global systems integrator ecosystems.

“Our customers are asking for managed secure access service edge (SASE), cloud, and threat detection and response capabilities,” he said. “By offering our innovative security solutions portfolio as a managed service through Deloitte, we’re providing newly extended support to customers who want their cyber programs to truly enable their critical business initiatives.”

Expanded Solutions

Expanded solutions offered as managed services will include:

  • Zero trust enterprise enablement. It combines cyber technology platforms and professional services to accelerate organizations’ adoption of zero trust.

  • Multicloud automation and orchestration. It combines Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud and Cortex XSOAR with Deloitte’s cloud security controls framework and library of cloud security use cases. It provides comprehensive security orchestration and automation.

  • Managed cyber defense. Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud and Prisma Cloud Compute solutions will be embedded in Deloitte’s OpenCloud to provide threat detection, prevention, attack surface management and security automation capabilities. It offers it in one integrated, multicloud platform.

  • Cyber 5G. It combines the companies’ 5G security blueprints, readiness and integration services aligned to private, public and hybrid deployments of 5G networks.

Kieran Norton is Deloitte risk and financial advisory infrastructure solution leader and principal at Deloitte & Touche.
