The death has taken place of Con Cluskey, one of the founder members of vocal trio The Bachelors, the first Irish group to top the British charts.
Conleth, known as Con began playing music with his brother Declan (Dec) in the 1950s, forming the group The Harmonichords with John Stokes.
In 1960 they changed their name to The Bachelors and went on to have many hits in Ireland, the UK and further afield. Some of their best known songs included Charmaine, Diane and I Believe.
Although it failed to top the Irish charts, Diane made it to number one in the UK, making The Bachelors the first Irish group to achieve that feat.

To put them in context, The Bachelors were like the Westlife or Boyzone of their day.
Over the course of a lengthy career, they released more than 70 albums, appeared in two films and performed in venues all over the world.
They continued playing and performing as the Bachelors in the 1970s and 1980s, with Con and Dec later performing as a duo.
They were based in the UK for many years, staying closely involved with the entertainment industry.
Con and Dec recorded music together as recently as last week.
His brother told RTÉ News that Con died peacefully on Friday. He was in his 80s.
