The Government today announced that seven COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Tsing Yi and Kowloon Bay.

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Hong Wing House of Cheung Hong Estate in Tsing Yi and Block 9 of Richland Gardens in Kowloon Bay.

At Hong Wing House, 769 people underwent testing and three of them tested positive for the virus.

As for Block 9 of Richland Gardens where 474 people took a virus test, four preliminary positive cases were detected.

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
