Envirotech to build first U.S. factory in Arkansas

Envirotech, a manufacturer of electric transit and commercial vehicles, has announced it will build an $80 million manufacturing facility in Osceola, Ark., creating more than 800 jobs.

The 580,000-sq.-ft. plant, the company’s first in the U.S., will begin by handling outfitting and shipping of vehicles imported from other factories, then develop into a complete manufacturing operation within five years.
