392 cases found in restricted areas

The Government today announced that 392 preliminary positive COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Kwai Chung, Kwun Tong, Sham Shui Po and Sheung Shui.

 

It made a restriction-testing declaration yesterday for Shing Hing House of Kwai Shing East Estate in Kwai Chung where 1,310 people were tested and 78 preliminary positive cases were identified.

 

In Kwun Tong, at Hang On House of Wo Lok Estate and Oi Tat House of On Tat Estate in Kwun Tong, 391 and 1,490 people from the two blocks underwent testing and 25 and 80 preliminarily tested positive for the virus.

 

Regarding Fu Sing House of Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po, 87 initially positive cases were detected after testing 1,496 people.

 

Concerning Choi Yuk House of Choi Yuen Estate in Sheung Shui where 1,177 people underwent testing, 122 of them preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19.

 

There were 66 indeterminate cases in the restricted areas, the Government added.
