Financial institutions are paying the highest hourly rates for outside counsel, while also doing a better job than many other industries when it comes to tamping down big rate hikes from their law firms. 

That’s according to a new analysis of the 2021 Real Rate Report from Wolters Kluwer, a Dutch information services company with a U.S. headquarters in Philadelphia.
