3 reasons Raiders should be exploring a trade for WR Calvin Ridley

Rather than breaking the bank for Davante Adams, the Raiders might be able to land Atlanta Falcons wideout Calvin Ridley at a more reasonable price.

Fans of the Las Vegas Raiders dream wish list includes Davante Adams, but the likelihood of the Silver and Black pulling off a deal seems like a pipedream. The fact is, the Green Bay Packers would be ridiculed to no end if both Aaron Rodgers and Adams were to wear new uniforms next season.

However, the Raiders still need another player to play with Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller. Calvin Ridley is that player.

It goes without mentioning that a large sect of Raiders fans wants their team to stay away from Alabama wide receivers. However, Ridley would be the exception to the rule. Yes, the tragedy surrounding Henry Ruggs III is still fresh in everyone’s minds, but to suggest Ridley would be another “Alabama failure” is asinine.

He’s a four-year professional and has proven his worth on the field.
