Smoke Investigation at House on Sigwalt St Near Dwyer Ave Arlington Heights

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 12:51 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2021 to a report of smoke in a house in the block of 1200 West Sigwalt Street in Arlington Heights.

Firefighters on arrival reported no smoke showing, and went inside to investigate the house for smoke. Interior firefighters reported a smoke odor and a light haze. They reported the haze and smoke was definitely not increasing, and that there was no not spots detected.

Extra fire crews were released about 1:06 a.m. but some crews continued to investigate the home for smoke or a smoke or heat source.
