JET2.com has responded to strong demand from skiers and snowboarders looking to get back to the slopes, by adding more Easter ski flights to Geneva.

The announcement comes as the Swiss Government today confirms that pre-arrival testing is no longer required for vaccinated customers.

This, and the recent relaxation of travel restrictions has seen snow sports fans rushing to make up for lost time, with this demand increasing even further following the reopening of French border last week.

The leading ski airline is restarting its programme of ski flights to the French Alps this weekend, with busy flights taking off once again to Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble.

Bookings are up across all of the eight ski destinations that Jet2.com operates to (Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Innsbruck, Lyon, Salzburg, Turin and Barcelona (Andorra).

Jet2.com has added the following flights to Geneva. The flights are ideally timed so that customers can make the most of their time on the slopes.

• Geneva – additional services from Birmingham (Saturday, April 2 and 9), Glasgow (Saturday, April 2 and 9), Leeds Bradford (Saturday, April 16), Manchester (Saturday, April 2 and 23) and London Stansted (Sundays from March 27 to April 10 and Saturday, April 2 and 16).

To give skiers and snowboarders even more to celebrate on top of this, Jet2.com is offering 10 per cent off all ski flights too.

This means customers can hit the slopes for less, whether they are booking for this winter or for Winter 22/23. Bookings must be made by 7th February 2021 for these promotions to apply.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Skiers and snowboarders have missed out on the best part of two ski seasons over the past couple of years, so they are absolutely jumping at the opportunity to hit the slopes once again.

"All eight ski destinations that we have on sale this winter are looking extremely popular, and it is obvious that snow sports fans want to make the ski season last for as long as possible too.

"In response to that, we are expanding our Easter ski programme so that customers have even more choice when it comes to hitting the best slopes in Europe.

"With our ski flights restarting to France this weekend too, we are looking ahead to a very popular and successful ski season.”
