Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller may be in line to miss another crucial game at this late stage in the season.

Waller did not feature in the Raiders' scheduled practice session on Thursday due to both his knee and back injuries. This comes as the veteran tight end was also sidelined from practice on Wednesday.

For insight on the Raiders' Week 16 matchup against the Broncos, listen below:

Waller has not featured for the Raiders since their pivotal win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. He came away from the contest with a knee injury sustained in the second quarter.

Last week, the Raiders remained conservative in their handling of Waller's injury, as they opted to keep him out of their three practices over the week. In the end, Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia elected to rule him out from their Week 15 road clash with the Cleveland Browns, as he noted that the tight end was still dealing with “particular pain” in his knee.

On Tuesday, Bisaccia did add that Waller recently had treatment for his knee injury and that his recovery is a “work in progress.”

As Waller may go on to miss a fourth straight game, there is also concern regarding backup tight end Foster Moreau. He featured in the Raiders' win over the Browns, where he recorded a game-high seven receptions to go along with 65 receiving yards. However, he has been a limited participant in practice this week due to an abdomen injury.

Regardless of who will be available in Week 16, quarterback Derek Carr will have a hefty task to lead Las Vegas to a win over the Broncos in order to keep the team in the mix for a wild-card spot in the AFC playoff picture.
