The Ohio Supreme Court rejected an organization’s attempt to block the governor’s “Vax-a-Million” lottery on Dec. 16.
The court unanimously found the Ohio Stands Up! group lacked standing to assert its claims. The group’s complaint alleged that Gov. Mike DeWine’s lottery, which was intended to incentivize Ohio residents to get vaccinated, “encouraged Ohio’s children to undergo harmful genetic experimentation in violation of ‘the Nuremburg [sic] Code (1947) and accepted standards of international common law and treaties.’”
