MPs' suspension: Oppn plans joint march
Intending to amplify its demand for revocation of the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs, opposition parties plan to take out a joint protest march from Parliament to Vijay Chowk on Tuesday to highlight the issue. In the morning meeting held in the room of leader of opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, opposition parties discussed that their pleas had not been heeded by the government, with some members suggesting that they needed to do more in solidarity with the MPs who are sitting on a dharna at the Gandhi statue in Parliament complex, sources said.
