The Golden State Warriors have started off the 2021 season as the best team in the NBA, all while missing perhaps their second-best player in Klay Thompson. They have done so in large part because of superstar guard Stephen Curry and his other-worldly stats. In an interview with Charles Eluemuno of Fadeaway World, Curry's teammate, forward Juan Toscano-Anderson had a very specific metaphor for what it is like to play with one of the greatest of all time.

“I used this comparison maybe last year, but it's like you getting into a street fight, and you got Mike Tyson on your side. Like of course you're gonna have all the confidence in the world,” Toscano-Anderson said, adding, “I said this before the season started, I think Steph Curry is the best basketball player in the world. So, when you got him in your team, that gives you all the confidence. It's a lot of fun. It's fun watching him, it's fun playing with him. He makes the game so much easier.”

The high praise being lofted upon Curry is not just coming from his Warriors teammates, as many people such as Isiah Thomas and Shaquille O'Neal have recently had great things to say about the sharpshooter. As far as being the Mike Tyson of the NBA though? That might just be a different player. Curry might be more of the “Sugar Ray Robinson” of the NBA. The “Mike Tyson” of the NBA? Well, that would have to go to the most feared player…obviously Alex Caruso.
