The acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed two people and shot another during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has led some attorneys to hail the verdict as warranted, while other jurists expressed irritation over what they call a broken criminal justice system.

The case has attracted international attention and scrutiny, with lawyers on either side of the public argument pointing out their frustrations with the handling of the Rittenhouse trial and its outcome.
