The Hop Houses along the Milwaukee River at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) are back up and running this week. Reservations can be made for six- or eight-person houses.
Wednesday, Nov. 10
Indeed Brewing and Shorts Brewing are both bringing a few of their beers, and beer slushie expertise, to Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) from 4 to 10 p.m.
Hoppy For Justice is a double IPA being released by Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) at 5 p.m. For every pint or bottle sold, Black Husky will donate $2 to Legal Aid.

Thursday, Nov. 11
I love the idea of a beer dinner series, and that’s exactly what’s happening at Eldr+Rime (2300 N. Mayfair Rd.) the second Thursday of every month until March. The restaurant is teaming up with 1840 Brewing Company for dinners that include three courses and four beers. Hear details about the food and drink from chef Gary Baca and brewmaster Kyle Vetter. Tickets are $95.
Champps Americana (1240 S. Moorland Rd., Brookfield) is handing out the annual Veteran’s Appreciation Card to veterans. The card provides $10 off any menu item, once a month.
Vets get a free order of red, white and blue cheese curds at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 4 to 9 p.m.
The Juicy Life, a collaboration between Lakefront Brewery and Miller High Life, has a release party at Miller Time Pub (509 W. Wisconsin Ave.). Get there at 6 p.m. to try the juicy lager.
Friday, Nov. 12
1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) has two releases slated for this weekend. Presale starts at 9 a.m. for Fire Pit Pale, a hazy pale ale, and Subliminal Grind, and English porter made with coffee beans.
Maplewood Brewery is bringing some treats to Ray’s Growler Gallery from 5 to 10 p.m. The headliner is Cuppaccino, an imperial stout made with chocolate, vanilla and coffee. There will also be a barrel-aged variant and a few other great Maplewood beers.
Saturday, Nov. 13
Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) has a triple beer release starting at 2 p.m. Swing by to pick up cans or a tap of Stor Bjorn Nordic Red Ale, Tropidelico IPA and Rye’d of the Valkyries Dunkel Lager. Twisted Plants will be there serving plant-based comfort food.
Eagle Park Brewing is releasing DDH Good Juice, a hazy IPA made with Citra, Mosaic, Eureka and Columbus hops. I’m guessing it’s very good. It’s available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at both the Milwaukee (823 E. Hamilton St.) and Muskego (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.) locations.
1840 Brewing’s outdoor Burngarten is returning to Homestead Hollow Park (N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown) for winter weekends. Try to get there soon before the really cold weather gets here.
