The true crime show on Investigation Discovery will be covering the murder of Charlene Wold, a 49-year-old woman who lived in Hudson, Wisconsin, on the Minnesota border. In February of 2017, Charlene’s 28-year-old son Logan Reese stabbed her to death in her home, according to investigators.

Police say Reese fled the scene of the crime, while other family members hid in the garage. Officers responded to the scene, and that same night spotted Reese driving down Highway 12. He led them on a high-speed chase for 50 miles across three counties, all the while exchanging gunfire with the officers. The chase ended when Reese crashed the car in Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota, and then shot and killed himself.

The episode, titled “He Was Her Everything,” uses home video to delve into the family’s history and the events that led up to the crime.  It airs this Sunday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 p.m. on Investigation Discovery, and is available to stream on discovery+.

“American Monster” can be streamed on discovery+, Hulu Premium, YouTube TV, Fubu TV and Amazon Prime
