“Significantly, this grant has arrived just in time to enable the School Board to complete the much needed administration building early next year,” he said in a statement Wednesday.
As such, Wong and the school’s Board of Management extended their gratitude to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor for approving the generous allocation.
“True to his commitment as Chief Minister of Sabahans, the financial assistance from Hajiji is the largest SJK[C] has received.
“Thanks to Hajiji, generations of teachers and children will benefit from the facilities of this purpose-built administration building,” he said.

Wong and the board members also extended their appreciation to the Special Officer to the Chief Minister Lo Su Fui for facilitating the approval of the grant.
