From the Health and Disability Green Paper and mentioned in Sunak’s budget yesterday at 5.15. The smarming billionaire presents it as simplifying the process for people with severe life-long disabilities or health
conditions. I am more convinced by the DRUK concerns at https://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/news/2021/september/health-and-disability-green-paper-%E2%80%93-cause-concern
that this is a possible prelude to merging UC and PIP, abolishing the SG/LCWRA element and replacing it with something that far fewer people will be entitled to.

Anyone have any thoughts? .

I completely agree that people should be worried as this has been on the cards for a while now. How to try and stop it is a different matter.

It may actually be too difficult to happen now that Scotland has responsibility for disability benefits (please can we have this to).
