SB Nation Reacts: Raiders fans’ confidence is sky-high heading into the bye week

The Raiders are coming off back-to-back victories where they displayed the appearance of a playoff team.

Fans are feeling the same way about their future. We saw a massive drop in confidence right before Week 6 after losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears. But in our recent poll asking fans about their confidence in the football team, the results were higher than ever before with over 75% of fans saying they’re confident in the team.

The Silver and Black fans are excited about what could be one of the best Raiders teams in years. The franchise is loaded with budding young talent with an innate hunger to achieve greatness.

Raiders are on a bye for Week 8 — but looking ahead to Week 9, they are are 2.5 point favorites over the New York Giants, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Vegas doesn't believe in this team just yet, with them being small favorites versus a losing squad, but at least our fanbase has faith.
