Lake County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters and paramedics from Lake Villa Fire Protection District responded about 6:35 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Route 59 and Amber Way Fox Lake Hills, unincorporated Lake Villa.
One patient was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced at 7:12 p.m. CDT that Route 59 is closed in both directions from Monaville Road to Route 132 in unincorporated Lake Villa due to a serious traffic crash. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, traffic will be impacted the next two to three hours. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office recommended motorists use an alternate route.
