#SheMeansBusiness: Leading with Confidence During Women’s Small Business Month
According to our recent Global State of Small Business Report, women-owned businesses face closure rates of 18% in the US compared to their male counterparts at 13%. But despite the obstacles, the resilience and tenacity of women-owned businesses remains high — which is why we want to take time to celebrate them during National Women’s Small Business Month.
In partnership with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Intuit Quickbooks, Facebook’s #SheMeansBusiness is hosting programming for small businesses owners to help provide inspiration, education and insight from women-led small businesses that have continued to persevere and lead with confidence over the last 18 months.

- Ways to Succeed During the Busy Season: The holiday buying season is upon us and, for small businesses, it is one of the most crucial times of year. This session will help provide tips and tricks on ways to leverage digital marketing tools on Facebook to increase your chances of success when it matters the most.
- Business Finance for Beginners: Take a crash course with Beth Melcher—Founder of MoneyFit, a Quickbooks partner— and get a small business expert's advice on the top five things you need to know about effectively managing the financial side of your business.
- Becoming a Great Boss: Great leadership begins with a great mindset. Hear from Denise Hamilton, Founder and CEO of WatchHerWork on the psychology and perspectives that set great leaders apart, and get advice on how women in small business can adopt a point-of-view that will inspire those around them.
