Hey,
It doesnt look to me like my pushrod on clutch slave is long enough because it's barely pushing the clutch with the slave cylinder piston at the edge of the slave cylinder (no more push available!)
I'm using a 1275 motor and ribcase transmission but a 1098 slave cylinder.
Does the 1275 slave cylinder use a longer pushrod, and, if so, anyone know that length? My current pushrod is 2 3/8" long from stem end to eye hole center and Im pretty sure it's from a smoothcase.
OR are the two pushrod the same length and I've got a different issue, like the wrong throw out bearing?
For what it's worth, this combo of stuff is going in a restoration project that has never run as is.

Martin, Make sure the Clutch Arm is not bent. That's the first thing to check. Check Gerard's Garage Web Site IIRC there is a dissertation on Pushrod Length and Combinations that work.
