WürstBar’s food menu is a mix of traditional German fare and modern street food. Classic German food options include Spätzle, German potato salad and sausages from Usinger’s and Bunzel’s Meat Market. Street food options will feature Döner kebabs, schnitzel tenders and currywurst. The food menu initially will be available from open until midnight daily. The restaurant will roll out a limited brunch program over the first few weeks of operation.

The initial stages of the WürstBar concept developed in March 2020 until being slowed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant is owned by Scott Schaefer, Andrew Fronek, and Darryl Towers, who operate Milwaukee Brat House locations in downtown Milwaukee and Shorewood, along with Jack’s American Pub on Brady Street.

A release posted on WürstBar’s Facebook page states that operators “could not be more excited to finally be able to showcase the hard work put into the menu, beverage program and build out of the space.”
