Your Milwaukee-Area Pumpkin Patch Guide

With fall hitting its peak and Halloween only a few weeks away, there is no better time to check out one of the many pumpkin patches in the Milwaukee area.

1. Linder Pumpkin Farm

19075 W CLEVELAND AVE., NEW BERLIN

Looking for festive and affordable fun for the whole family? Be sure to visit Linder Pumpkin Farm this fall to pick up your pumpkins and gourds. The farm houses a petting zoo with goats, mini-pig, mini-horses and bunnies, and many people enjoy the giant slide, corn maze, tractor racetrack and pumpkin bowling.

2. Swan’s Pumpkin Farm

5930 HIGHWAY H, FRANKSVILLE

Whether you want a pumpkin for carving or cooking, Swan’s Pumpkin Farm has exactly what you need, selling thousands of pumpkins of all different sizes. The farm also hosts some “scary stuff” like the Witch Hallow Maze and The Graveyard, as well as some “not so scary stuff” like Corn City, a petting zoo, tractor-drawn hayrides, pedal carts, a giant slide and a pumpkin jump pad.

3. Silver Spring Pumpkin Farm

If you are looking for locally grown pumpkins, head over to the family-owned Silver Spring Pumpkin Farm. Their farmers grow “the best variety of pumpkins in the state” and a new variety of gourds and squashes each year. The farm is also home to many hay bales, corn stalks and photo-opts.

4. Basse’s Taste of Country

3190 COUNTY LINE Q, COLGATE

Attend Basse’s Pumpkin Fest from now until October 31 for access to a pick-your-own-pumpkin pumpkin patch, an 8-acre corn maze and over 65 other fun fall activities for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you are looking for something big or small, Basse’s Taste of Country has pumpkins of all sizes, even up to 400 pounds.

5. Cedarburg Creek Farm

649 HIGHWAY 60, CEDARBURG

“Come for the pumpkin, stay for the day!” This family owned and operated farm offers fun for people of all ages. While visiting, you will find a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, a petting zoo, pony rides, bouncy houses and a barrel train.

6. Apple Barn Orchard Winery

The Apple Barn farmhouse was built around 1865 and has been passed down for six generations. After picking your pumpkin, head over to the Apple Barn Winery where Jake Drefs, master winemaker, crafts award-winning wines.

7. Cozy Nook Farm

While Cozy Nook Farm is primarily a dairy farm, housing over 65 cows, their Fall Market offers a wide variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds. For over 50 years, Cozy Nook Farm has welcomed visitors to its farm to pick pumpkins and buy fall decorations.

8. Creekside Valley Farm

13101 N. WAUWATOSA RD., MEQUON

Pumpkins, corn mazes and hayrides–oh my! Creekside Valley Farm has one main goal: to have families learn something during their visit without having to pay for everything. Shop for festive treasures in the onsite barn or stay curious by exploring the petting zoo, riding peddle tractors and playing pumpkin games.

9. Ebert’s Greenhouse

Celebrate fall with hayrides, games and sweet treats at Elbert’s Greenhouse. And if that isn’t enough to entice you to make a visit, the farm also offers a variety of fall plants: mums, asters and purple fountain grass.

10. Jerry Smith Farm

7150 18TH (HIGHWAY L), KENOSHA

Enjoy unlimited access to a giant bounce pad, 6-acre crazy corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides and play areas. And be sure to check out the hand-painted pumpkin display featuring over 2 dozen pumpkins.

11. Land of the Giants Pumpkin Farm

In addition to housing thousands of pumpkins, Creuziger’s Land of the Giants is also home to goats, alpacas, chickens and turkeys on their family run farm. Corn mazes, army truck rides and barrel train rides are also popular attractions at this pumpkin patch.

12. Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm & Market

2970 MILE VIEW RD., WEST BEND

Visit Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm for access to a thousand pumpkins for picking, a corn maze and fall décor shopping. This farm also has an animal park, safari trail and petting area. And if you are looking for something a bit spookier, check out the creepy cornfield and night haunted cornfield which is planned for Saturday nights starting on October 9.

13. Schuett Farms

STATE HIGHWAY 83 & ROAD X, MUKWONAGO

Visit Schuett farm for fall festivities galore. Come to pick pumpkins – and choose one from a selection of giant pumpkins – but stay for the corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin launching, giant slide, corn cannon and delicious mini donuts.

14. Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Farm

9612 W. OAKWOOD RD., FRANKLIN

Buffalo Bill’s has more than just pumpkins. Check out the corn maze, sunflowers, yard games and more – and if you’re feeling brave, take a walk on the haunted trail with live actors and plenty of haunts.
