9 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 5-9

The Milwaukee Brewers begin the playoffs this week and there are plenty of beer events to help celebrate.

Tuesday, Oct. 5

So, this is a cool event going on at Puddler’s Hall (2461 S. St. Clair St.) from 6 to 7 p.m. For $5 you can learn American Sign Language and get a Lakefront Brewery beer.

Wednesday Oct. 6

Toppling Goliath is bringing a few of its standout beers to The Tap Yard (1150 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha) from 5 to 9 p.m.

Solemn Oath and Third Space Brewing are both taking over a few taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) from 4 to 10 p.m. Two collaborations on the menu include an IPA collab between Third Space and Solemn Oath, and a keg of Ray’s/Third Space 2020 Stout State of Mind.

Friday, Oct. 8

Leave it to Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) to have a beer release in honor of the MLB Playoffs. The unabashed Brewers fans have four stouts being released at noon–Unwritten Rules is a pistachio pudding pastry stout, Rule Breaker is a barrel-aged version of Unwritten Rules, Pabso is a Mexican chocolate stout and YABO! is a Cracker Jack caramel stout. All sound delicious and they’re all available on tap and in cans. Go Brewers!

Estabrook Park Beer Garden (4600 Estabrook Dr.) is the site of Lakefront Brewery’s newest My Turn Series beer release. Towny Milwaukee Märzen will be flowing at 5 p.m.

1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) gets props for the name of its latest double IPA. Two Fisted Slopper is available for presale at 9 a.m. and pickup during the weekend at 1840 Brewing.

Saturday, Oct. 9

Head to The Tap Yard—Waukesha for a beer and Halloween candy pairing. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Left Hand Milk Stout? Yes, please.

New Barons Brewing Cooperative (2018 S. 1st St.) celebrates its first anniversary with a party from noon to 11 p.m. in its taproom. Expect live music, a food truck and even a dunk tank. Also, bring in a non-perishable food item for Hunger Task Force to get a ticket to a raffle for merch and New Baron’s beer.

The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series comes to Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640, Commerce Center Parkway, Muskego) at noon. Sign up to run a 5K and have a free beer after.
