Recognised jab record list updated

October 4, 2021

The Government announced today that from October 6, it will accept jab records issued by South Africa as recognised vaccination records for Hong Kong residents returning from Group A specified places.

Hong Kong residents holding vaccination records issued by the relevant authority of South Africa in the prescribed format can board a flight for Hong Kong from Group A specified places. The vaccines administered to the travellers must be those recognised by the Government.

From August 20, the Government has implemented stringent inbound prevention and control measures for travellers from overseas places. Those who have stayed in Group A specified places on the day of boarding or 21 days before that day can only board a flight for Hong Kong if they are Hong Kong residents who are fully vaccinated and holding recognised vaccination records.
