Get creative and have fun this weekend at Brady Street’s Pet Parade. Dress your critter up in a costume for a chance to win a prize in one of the following categories: Best Costume, Best Tail Wagging, Best Trick and Best Pet/Owner Look-Alike. The event includes a parade, live music and a local illustrator designing Pet Parade graphics.

8. Milwaukee Comedyfest

Celebrating over 15 years of laughs, Comedyfest is billed as the largest multi-day comedy event in the state of Wisconsin. From October 3-10, performers from across the country will be in 14 live shows and special events at The Laughing Tap, Lakefront Brewery, Dandy and Var Gallery. Comedyfest alumni have gone on to work for the likes of Conan, Comedy Central, Netflix and SNL.

11. Valley Week

Swing by the Harley-Davison Museum on Friday night for an outdoor movie night. The event will start at 6:00 p.m. for kids to take a tour of the museum campus, complete a scavenger hunt and demo Harley-Davidson’s IRON12 ebike all before the 7:00 showtime. Saturday will feature a scooter tour from 1-2:15 p.m. to explore trails and scenic views.

12. Wisconsin Conservatory of Music’s Instrument Drive for Kids in Need

SATURDAY | VARIOUS COLLECTION CENTERS

This Saturday, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music will host an instrument drive for Southeastern Wisconsin families who cannot afford to rent or buy instruments. Donated instruments will be cleaned, repaired and given to students and community members.

13. Blocktoberfest
