Girl, Age 10, Hit by Vehicle on Rand Rd Near Turtle Creek Drive, Palatine

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Palatine responded about 7:53 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 to a report pedestrian hit by a vehicle at Rand Road and Turtle Creek Drive in Palatine.

Police and paramedics received a report that a 10 year-old girl was hit by a car and down in the road or near the road.

Engine 82’s crew on arrival reported the child was off on the side of the road on the eastbound side of Rand Road. Crews were attempting to move everyone off Rand Road by 8:00 a.m. Extra crews for additional support were also released by 8:00 a.m.
