Trouble Makers’ Cocina returns to Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) for yet another beer dinner. The four-course fun runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $55.
New Glarus Brewing is bringing a few beers to The Tap Yard (1150 W. Sunset Dr.) from 5 to 9 p.m. One of them is Strawberry Rhubarb, the delicious seasonal fruit ale.
Dovetail Brewery makes more traditional beers exceptionally well. They’ll be tapping some of them at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) from 4 to 10 p.m. Try the Dovetail Kölsch. It’s delicious.
Thursday, Sept. 30
It’s the last weekend to enjoy Oktoberfest at Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.). The celebration starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday and runs through Sunday.
Friday, Oct. 1
Head to Gathering Place Brewing Company’s pop-up beer garden at Flour & Feed (2160 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) to partake in the Bay View Bottle Service. Special and limited release bottles will be available from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. A food truck will be there also to help provide a base.
1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is releasing Köldisch, an IPA fermented with Kölsch yeast. The brewery is also selling the Love, Milwaukee six-pack, which includes a cans from 1840, New Barons Brewing Cooperative, Component Brewing, Company Brewing, Gathering Place and Soul Brew Kombucha. Presale for both is at 9 a.m.

The Love, Milwaukee Block Party is happening at Lincoln Warehouse (2018 S. 1st St.) from 4 to 10 p.m. Expect food trucks, music and a few specialty beers from the mixed six-pack (noted above) in the New Barons Brewing Cooperative taproom.
Oktoberfest comes to the Estabrook Park Beer Garden (4600 Estabrook Dr.) this weekend. Drink German beer, compete in stein holding events, listen to German music—you know, the usual stuff. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Layman Brewing (6601 W. Madison St.) is hosting a fish boil at 5 p.m. They’ll be releasing Dunkelzahn’s Dunkelweiss, a rye-forward dark wheat beer.
Saturday, Oct. 2
The Lowdown block party comes to Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.) from noon to 11 p.m. There will be beer, food, art and live music. Try beer brûlée, where a hot poker placed in a beer transforms the flavor and mouthfeel. Indeed will also be releasing a Smoked Vienna Lager and Honey Nut Cream Ale.
The Fermentorium has three beers being released this weekend. Pineapple Juice Packets IPA, Stone Hearth Dunkelweizen and Tank 8: Adult Themes Tropical Edition will be available in four-packs at both the Cedarburg (7481 WI-60 Trunk) and Wauwatosa (6933 W. North Ave.) locations.
Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S 5th St.) is hosting OktoHarvest from 1 to 8 p.m. They’ll be tapping their Oktoberfest.
Lace up the running shoes for the Wisconsin Brewery Running Series latest 5K at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.). Get there at 9:30 a.m. to register.
Sunday, Oct. 3
End the weekend on a festive note at Mobtoberfest. MobCraft (505 S. 5th St.) hosts the celebration that includes German-inspired food, live music and an intriguing beer list. Among the taps flowing are Oaktoberfest, an Oktoberfest-style lager aged conditioned in oak, and Eissturm Special Reserve, an eisbock aged in a rye whisky barrel. The fun starts at noon.
