BJP says ‘tukde-tukde gang’ has merged with Congress

BJP says ‘tukde-tukde gang’ has merged with Congress
NEW DELHI: BJP on Tuesday said Kanhaiya Kumar and Jignesh Mevani’s induction into Congress has proved that the party has become synonymous with divisive politics and endorses the “anti-India forces.”
“It is natural that any person — be it Kanhaiya or anyone else — if he has an ideology which is anti India, then the first choice for him will be Congress,” said BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia.

He said today Congress’ party leadership and its ideology is synonymous with divisive politics and anti India forces, which is evident it welcomed Kanhaiya Kumar, who had openly supported the people chanting “Bharat tere tukde honge” slogan. “He is known for supporting people who had openly supported the terror mastermind Afzal Guru and had termed his hanging as judicial killing,” Bhatia said.
BJP’s Sambit Patra said, “The tukde-tukde gang has merged with Congress, which happened on the anniversary of surgical strikes, which seems done with a purpose as Congress leadership had raised questions about military action against terror camps in Pakistan also.”
BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted, “On the anniversary of surgical strike, Congress to admit Kanhaiya Kumar and Jignesh Mewani of “Bharat tere tukde honge” fame. This can’t be a mere coincidence.”
