Mall of America wants to make history again.
On September 4, 1995, the premiere episode of WCW Nitro debuted on TNT. The event was held at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was headlined by Hulk Hogan taking on Big Bubba Rogers.
Aside from being the debut episode of WCW Nitro, the show made headlines as Lex Luger made an appearance, officially jumping ship of WWE to WCW. Luger has wrestled at a WWE Live Event just the night before.
With AEW coming to Minnesota in November, Mall of a America would welcome back wrestling to the shopping center.

AEW will hold its Full Gear pay-per-view on November 13 from the Target Center in Minnesota. The company will also hold Dynamite and Rampage at the Target Center in the week leading up to Full Gear.
AEW has paid tribute to WCW nostalgia recently, holding AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios.
