Chance Aluminum to reopen Pennsylvania plant

Chance Aluminum, an aluminum and stainless steel producer and sister company to Florida-based AA Metals, has announced plans to invest $18.5 million in the former JW Aluminum facility in Williamsport, Pa., to establish an aluminum rolling mill.

The plant, which will produce aluminum foil and other alloy coils, will become the main domestic supplier for AA Metals. The company expects this project to create 100 jobs.
