7.96m jab doses given

About 7,967,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,284,900 people receiving their first dose and around 3,682,600 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,558,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,726,000 people got the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,363,100 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,319,500 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 39,900 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Around 4,400 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 9,200 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,700 people received their first dose and around 18,700 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while it is about 96% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 1,400 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 6,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
