Great Lakes Brewing is bringing a few delicious beers to The Tap Yard (1150 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha) from 5-9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 9
Raised Grain Brewing’s pop-up beer garden comes to Fox Brook Park (2925 N. Barker Rd., Brookfield) for the weekend. Hours are 4-9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3-9 p.m. on Saturday.
The month-long Oktoberfest celebration continues at Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.). You’ve got plenty of time for stein drinking, as the event happens every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 3.
Friday, Sept. 10
It’s a big weekend at The Tap Yard-Waukesha. Fall Fest takes place on Friday and Saturday, and that means live music, food trucks and some very rare beers on tap – Toppling Goliath Mornin’ Delight Imperial Stout and Central Waters Black Gold Imperial Stout are just two standouts.
Dead Bird Brewing (1726 N. 5th St.) also has a celebration planned. It’s the brewery’s second annual Flock Party, and the fun starts at 3 p.m. on Friday with live music and food trucks. On Saturday, the festivities begin with yoga at 9 a.m. and continue until 10 p.m.
1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is releasing Haus Weisse, a Berliner weisse made with blackberry and lemon peel. Pre-sale begins at 9 a.m.
Homestead Hollow County Park (N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown) gets a visit from 1840 Brewing Company’s traveling beer garden.

Saturday, Sept. 11
Ervtoberfest comes to Erv’s Mug (130 W. Ryan Rd.) from 5-9 p.m. Sample all sorts of fall beers and indulge in plenty of German food at this annual staple. Tickets are $50.
Celebration Place at Harbor Park (5501 Ring Rd., Kenosha) is the site of Great Lakes Brew Fest. Hundreds of craft beers will be available for sampling between 3-6:30 p.m.
Anyone growing backyard hops should bring them to Company Brewing (735 E. Center St.) for Riverwest Backyard Hops Brewday. Bring in fresh hops in the morning and Company will use them to brew a beer in the afternoon. That beer will be released on Saturday, Oct. 2.
1840 Brewing brings its traveling beer garden to Klode Park (5960 N. Lake Dr.).
Sunday, Sept. 12
Earn your “Sunday funday” by starting it with an intense, 45-minute Shred415 workout at Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) at 11 a.m. You’ll be rewarded with a free pint from Black Husky. What you do with your Sunday after that is completely up to you
New Barons Brewing Cooperative (2018 S. 1st St.) is hosting a Pups & Pints fundraiser from 2-6 p.m. Crafts to Memories will be there selling dog-related treats and toys and Paddy’s Paws will be taking donations of toys, blankets and more. Bring your furry friend (as long as your pup plays well with others).
Two dog-related events in one day? Yup. Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is the scene for Paws on the Patio from 2-5 p.m. Broken Bat will be donating 20% of sales to Fetch it Forward and Downtown Dog Park. Sunday is a good day for the dogs.
